Registraion Dates and Times
PRE-REGISTRATION IS FOR RETURNING SKATERS ONLY
- Thursday, Sept 9th, 7 - 8:30pm (Pre-registration night)
- Sunday, Sept 12th, 6:30 - 8:00pm (Open registration night)
(Bring Skater’s Health Card to Registration. Payment by cheque or cash only)
Board Room, Upstairs at Centennial Arena

Family Discount
First skater in a family pays full fees. Each additional child saves $20.
2nd Day Discount
Skate both Thursday and Sunday sessions and save $20.
Please Note
- Sessions include ice fees, badges, coaching costs, Skate Canada registration and insurance. Every skater must pay an annual membership fee, which covers insurance and mandatory membership with Skate Canada and Skate Nova Scotia. The membership year runs from September 1- August 31. Registration payment can be made by cash or cheque payable to the HALIFAX SKATING CLUB on the date of registration. Payment in full must be received prior to the start of classes in order to confirm your place. Halifax Skating Club reserves the right to cancel or change any program due to changes in enrolment.
- Late Registration: Late registrations will be accepted if there is room but will be subjected to a $15 late fee. Regular registration fees will not be prorated once we have started our session and will be considered the late fee. Skaters registering on a day that we are already skating will not be permitted to skate until the following week.
- NSF CHEQUES will be charged a $25 administration fee. Replacement must be cash, certified cheque or money order.
- Refund Policy: The Skate Canada membership fee is non-refundable. Registration fees will be reimbursed for medical reasons on a prorated basis minus a $20 administration fee. All refund requests must be in writing to the Program Administrator.
