CanSkate at the Halifax Skating Club
Beginner to Skate Canada Badge 3
Includes the following skill levels:
· All skaters working on badges 1-3
· Skaters working on badges 4, 5 & 6 who wear hockey skates
Develops fundamental skating skills such as forward and backward skating; stopping, turning, edges, crosscuts, posture, pushing and gliding.
Group lesson format led by a NCCP Certified Professional coach and assisted by trained Program Assistants.
Skaters progress at their own rate with continuous movement through games, drills, circuits and daily assessment.
Skater must wear a helmet and mitts/gloves (no tapered bicycle helmets permitted.

CANSKATE is Skate Canada's flagship learn-to-skate program, designed for children 4-13 years. The program focuses on fun, participation, and basic skill development for figure skating, hockey, ringette, and speed skating.

COST = 14 Weeks for $227.00 (Includes Skate Canada fee of $31.00).
